With a little luck, Cuervos de Boedo's Roland Zondervan got control of the ball when Benedykt Marchewka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willian Chaves came out of the goal and Nicasio Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Marino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Zondervan. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Atlético Salto Capioví was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Salto Capioví's goalkeeper Willian Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Aurken to make the kick off. Willian Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Zondervan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brasil Richardsson in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Atlético Salto Capioví's Brasil Richardsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Zondervan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Matias Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuervos de Boedo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
