After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Apolo Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runefaust's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Nyberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the match, Runefaust's Miguel Bastia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Nyberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Runefaust's goalkeeper Victor Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Shepherd. In the 19th minute Apolo Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ZuKaritas FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gregorio Isauro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Loid Verelst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Reyes. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Shepherd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Reyes was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. A collision led to Runefaust getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Isaac Hulberto hit a great ball. Isaac Hulberto scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Nyberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Runefaust's Victor Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Runefaust from getting a goal against them. The audience held their breath when Loid Verelst in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Victor Reyes's left hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Victor Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Shepherd in the 52nd minute of play. When ZuKaritas FC's Evaristo Shepherd in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Runefaust's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Miguel Bastia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Nyberg. ZuKaritas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Bastia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 59th minute, Runefaust's Isaac Hulberto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. ZuKaritas FC's Gunnar Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Mergildo in the 63rd minute of play. Runefaust were furious when Sergio Txanton was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute, one of Runefaust:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Runefaust. Victor Reyes had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Loid Verelst's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 67 minutes of play, ZuKaritas FC's Loid Verelst made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! ZuKaritas FC's Vicente Gabino was substituted for Teodosio Azubeli. 76 minutes into the game, Isaac Hulberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Nyberg. Isaac Hulberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Gunnar Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Hulberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Gabino in the 87th minute of play forced Runefaust's goalkeeper Victor Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 played minutes Runefaust got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Richie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Runefaust walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
