With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Leobardo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aybar Yalınalp saved Chia Cami from getting behind. In the 5th match minute, Chia Cami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Libertad to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafino Leobardo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybar Yalınalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aybar Yalınalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Leobardo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 13 played minutes FC Magdeburg got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Paul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Libertad in the 15th minute of play forced FC Magdeburg's goalkeeper Nereo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Magdeburg's Nereo Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Libertad in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chia Cami's Humberto Maldonado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Semih Selim managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Magdeburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Semih Selim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aybar Yalınalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Magdeburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Sixto Gaitan scored to the left of an out of position Nereo Gasteiz, making the score, 2-1. Ioan Encuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybar Yalınalp having to interfere. Serafino Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aybar Yalınalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Magdeburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Semih Selim in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Semih Selim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chia Cami's Aybar Yalınalp did a great save. In the 40th minute of the match, Herminio Chus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Gasteiz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chia Cami's Aybar Yalınalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Leobardo in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Magdeburg's Semih Selim got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sixto Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nereo Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chia Cami. In the 45th play minute Sixto Gaitan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nereo Gasteiz. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Leobardo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Magdeburg's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Libertad came free, but Nereo Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Gaitan in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Leobardo in the 54th minute of play forced Chia Cami's goalkeeper Aybar Yalınalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Libertad in the 60th minute of the match. Nereo Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Chus in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Sixto Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Gasteiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. 72 minutes into the game, Serafino Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Aybar Yalınalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Serafino Leobardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Semih Selim got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Semih Selim kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, FC Magdeburg's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Gaitan came free, but Nereo Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Dodorol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aybar Yalınalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play.
