German Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Leobardo in the 26th minute of the match. German Hernando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ioan Encuțescu in the 30th minute. German Hernando made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ioan Encuțescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Leobardo in the 32nd minute of play forced Ubajay's goalkeeper German Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Serafino Leobardo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for German Hernando to make any attempt to save it. If Ioan Encuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When FC Magdeburg's Ioan Encuțescu, in the 36th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Magdeburg. Venancio Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Serafino Leobardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of German Hernando, 3-0. After 45 played minutes FC Magdeburg got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Paul. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Evaristo Chap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Lidon was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Evaristo Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Hever was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Ioan Encuțescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The supporters of Ubajay booed when FC Magdeburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semih Selim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Chap who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Rene Lidon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Magdeburg's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
