In the 5th match minute, Naryguetta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Aznar to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Semih Selim had to leave the field with a concussion. 9 minutes into the game, Ruben Paio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naryguetta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Magdeburg the free kick. FC Magdeburg made a substitution. Anacleto Barea replaced Semih Selim. After 11 played minutes Naryguetta got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Paio. Nunez Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Naryguetta's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Leobardo came free, but Nunez Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Ioan Encuțescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Encuțescu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the match, Naryguetta's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Encuțescu came free, but Nunez Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Magdeburg's Mauro Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Mauro Dodorol notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Naryguetta's Nunez Estavan. Nunez Estavan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, FC Magdeburg's Serafino Leobardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nunez Estavan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Opilano during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Marcial Berdaitz fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naryguetta's protests and gave Marcial Berdaitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, one of Naryguetta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Naryguetta. 43 minutes into the match, Naryguetta's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Dodorol came free, but Nunez Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Ayala hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mauro Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Estavan having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Paio to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Encuțescu in the 58th minute of play forced Naryguetta's goalkeeper Nunez Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nunez Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ioan Encuțescu in the 59th minute. Nunez Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Encuțescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Naryguetta's Anier Aznar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Naryguetta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Magdeburg:s goal. Ioan Encuțescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nunez Estavan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ioan Encuțescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Ioan Encuțescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nunez Estavan. The goal made the score 0-6. Nunez Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Dodorol went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Ioan Encuțescu had several of the Naryguetta's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Nunez Estavan as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Naryguetta's Marcial Berdaitz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nunez Estavan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arsen Sobetskyi. When the final whistle sounded FC Magdeburg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Naryguetta.
