Higinio Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Abadia, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Higinio Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Guifre having to interfere. Honorio Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Henrik Frohn missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 20 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Higinio Guifre right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Black & Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Abadia came free, but Higinio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Cristo Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Black & Blue defense, Pablo Ur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Guifre. The Black & Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Guifre should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Albano Abadia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Guifre. Black & Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Abadia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cirilo Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. Albano Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Pablo Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Black & Blue's Higinio Guifre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Black & Blue from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Boca Juniors's Albano Abadia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Guifre. Higinio Guifre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 72 minutes into the match, Black & Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Ur came free, but Higinio Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pablo Ur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Guifre. That made the score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. Pablo Ur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. Black & Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Frohn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Black & Blue's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Pablo Ur scored to the left of an out of position Higinio Guifre, making the score, 0-8. Higinio Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pablo Ur came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Ur couldn't finish the play. Pablo Ur struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Higinio Guifre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. 96 minutes into the game, Wincenty Awizo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black & Blue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Black & Blue's Wincenty Awizo got a free kick in the 96th minute. Higinio Guifre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Abadia in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black & Blue.
