Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Kusko in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Eneko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Eneko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Kusko in the 26th minute of play. Georges Marchais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Eneko having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Caldas De Reis's Raul Jaunti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Eliseo Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Caldas De Reis made a substitution. Ladislao Neto replaced Pablo Pitin. Caldas De Reis's Moises Oliviero was substituted for Zeledon Enaut. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Oroitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Georges Marchais took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Eneko. Eliseo Eneko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Paulino Kusko took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Eneko. Georges Marchais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caldas De Reis had played much better football throughout.
