The supporters of Persos United booed when Sauce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sauce FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Aurelio Abalos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Silvano Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Sauce FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Ihazintu. After 28 played minutes Sauce FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Deunoro. Baldomero Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaudencio Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Silvano Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jonas Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Persos United's Blas Anaya got a free kick in the 58th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Orlin couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Aurelio Abalos managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's goalkeeper Silvano Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Richie. Persos United's Lucio Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sauce FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Persos United had controlled the match.
