Elpidio Tomi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Valter Pinhal made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Tomi. Persos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Elpidio Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Pinhal in the 37th minute of play. When Quirós's Telmo Granja in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Desiderio Mede ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Honorato Salvidor took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Elpidio Tomi to make any attempt to save it. Elpidio Tomi came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quirós's Telmo Granja. But to his dismay, Telmo Granja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 86th minute, Desiderio Mede fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elpidio Tomi, passed just outside the right post. When Telmo Granja, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Elpidio Tomi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elpidio Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Granja in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Persos United's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Salvidor came free, but Elpidio Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Valter Pinhal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Tomi.
