Elpidio Tomi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Persos United's zone, Eulalio Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Tomi came out of the goal and Eulalio Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Isidoro Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eulalio Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñitas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Pes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Elpidio Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Maximo Oroitz had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Peñitas Futbol Club's Amancio Marin was substituted for Maximo Oroitz. In the 41st match minute, Persos United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Mikeldi to maneuver through the defense. If Eulalio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Amancio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Persos United's Elpidio Tomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Clementi in the 45th minute of play. Hugo Gorosti charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Gorosti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Persos United's Hugo Gorosti got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Amancio Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Mikeldi to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Tomi came out of the goal and Amancio Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Eulalio Pes took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Elpidio Tomi to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 63 minutes, Amancio Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peñitas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Damaso Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Baldomero Mikeldi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of Peñitas Futbol Club booed when Persos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Eulalio Pes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elpidio Tomi. Eulalio Pes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 79 minutes into the match, Amancio Hori dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elpidio Tomi, 0-7. 85 minutes into the match, Persos United's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Clementi came free, but Elpidio Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Damaso Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Clementi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Tomi saved Persos United from getting behind. In the 93rd play minute Amancio Hori came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elpidio Tomi. 0-8.
