Zeledon Lordi came out of the goal and Evaristo Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Teofilio in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes Jedi Knights's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Brion who took care of the corner kick. In the 32nd match minute, Grupo Informatico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Evaristo Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Teofilio was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Teofilio in the 52nd minute of play. A hard shot 54 in the game by Evaristo Brion from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Lordi managed to make a qualified save. Jedi Knights's players were relieved. Jimeno Ostargi ran back to his position shaking his head. Raul Teofilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Lordi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Raul Teofilio took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Zeledon Lordi to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Atarratze got free with Zeledon Lordi in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jedi Knights's Zeledon Lordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Jedi Knights from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Grupo Informatico's Gogo Atarratze got a free kick in the 80th minute. Grupo Informatico's Lisandro Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Aragones in the 81st minute of play. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Teofilio in the 86th minute of play. Gogo Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Zeledon Lordi made a huge save. The supporters of Grupo Informatico booed when Jedi Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Jedi Knights fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grupo Informatico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
