Boris Käckers short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Zacarias Jatsu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brandsen's Jon Sellekaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek Ploskov in the 87th minute of play. Zacarias Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Paulino Eduino fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo avellaneda's protests and gave Paulino Eduino a yellow card for diving instead.
