Vito Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Brandsen's goalkeeper Jon Sellekaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Rosio. After 45 played minutes Brandsen got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Harkaitz. 47 minutes into the match, Jacinto Rosio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Brandsen's Jon Sellekaerts. Jon Sellekaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Saturnino Abeitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandsen's Jon Sellekaerts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Brandsen were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Liberland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodolfo Etxepare took the corner. If Antonio Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Käcker in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Abeitia in the 66th minute of play forced Brandsen's goalkeeper Jon Sellekaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Brandsen got a freekick which was hit by German Iyan. Joaquin Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jon Sellekaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Rosio in the 79th minute of play. Domingos Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Liberland booed when Brandsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Dominic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Vigil, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jon Sellekaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Brandsen were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Liberland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodolfo Etxepare took the corner. Boris Käcker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vito Rezende made a huge save.
