Mohamed Timsit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Saira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Rayman came free, but Mohamed Timsit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Timsit came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Horquilla's Remigio Dominguez. But to his dismay, Remigio Dominguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Saira FC booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohamed Timsit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Saira FC defense, Sergio Rayman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohamed Timsit. The Saira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohamed Timsit should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Sergio Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Timsit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Sergio Rayman sped through Saira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Timsit. Sergio Rayman got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mohamed Timsit handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Sergio Rayman sped through Saira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mohamed Timsit. In the 32nd minute, Sergio Rayman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Horquilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Francisco Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horquilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohamed Timsit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Haroldo Rumaldo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saira FC's protests and gave Haroldo Rumaldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Horquilla booed when Saira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Rayman might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Timsit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Rayman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohamed Timsit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Rayman in the 44th minute of play forced Saira FC's goalkeeper Mohamed Timsit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Rayman in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohamed Timsit prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Havier to make the kick off. The supporters of Horquilla booed when Saira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Dacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Rayman in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mohamed Timsit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 71 minutes, Remigio Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horquilla and the Saira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Saira FC booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Saira FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Dacio. Mohamed Timsit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Rayman in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Timsit saved Saira FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Saira FC's zone, Tobias Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Timsit came out of the goal and Tobias Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Rayman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Mohamed Timsit 77 minutes into the match. Francisco Luix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Horquilla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
