Vinicio Rainerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Severo Maura made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Aurelio Hermelando sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Simon Rexino threw the ball into play from the sideline. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Ulises Matei quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Patricio Etxahun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Maura was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Hermelando in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Maura saved Ave Fénix FC from getting behind. If Aurelio Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Soter came free, but Berart Baiges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Basajaun in the 30th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's goalkeeper Berart Baiges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Severo Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Aurelio Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Berart Baiges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Soter in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ave Fénix FC's zone, Aurelio Hermelando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Maura came out of the goal and Aurelio Hermelando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Aurelio Hermelando notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ave Fénix FC's Severo Maura. Severo Maura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurelio Hermelando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severo Maura having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Soter made a kick off. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS booed when Ave Fénix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Soter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Rainerio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Ave Fénix FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vinicio Rainerio who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Edgardo Cisco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Vinicio Rainerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 60 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Aurelio Hermelando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Simon Rexino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Etxahun in the 68th minute of the match. Vinicio Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Aurelio Hermelando made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Maura was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Vinicio Rainerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Maura. Ave Fénix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Rainerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Severo Maura came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Vinicio Rainerio. But to his dismay, Vinicio Rainerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After some careless play in the Ave Fénix FC defense, Vinicio Rainerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Maura. The Ave Fénix FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Maura should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Ave Fénix FC's Amancio Basajaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berart Baiges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Severo Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Vinicio Rainerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Severo Maura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's Tomas Rami got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS were the better team. ESTUDIANTES DE CASEROS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
