GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s Timoteo Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Basajaun in the 4th minute of play. Severo Maura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Pirmin in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gavino Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Pirmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Maura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Gavino Pirmin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Severo Maura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Mauro Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Distiratsu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Flavio Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s Mauro Maura in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Severo Maura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Pirmin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Ave Fénix FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mauro Maura fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 41st match minute, GOLDEN DOGS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Severo Maura made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gavino Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauro Maura was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Arnoldo Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ave Fénix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Garin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ave Fénix FC's Amancio Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Maura having to interfere. Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Maura in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s Mauro Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Mauro Maura put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severo Maura. 69 minutes into the match, Ave Fénix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Locaio came free, but Severo Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Pirmin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Maura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. David Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ave Fénix FC's Arnoldo Garin got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes of play, GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s Mauro Maura made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Maura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoldo Garin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Pirmin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severo Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Ave Fénix FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arnoldo Garin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Teobaldo Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ave Fénix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Soter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that GOLDEN DOGS F.C. were the better team. GOLDEN DOGS F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
