When Salinas FC's Ambrosio Frasco in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rinconadilla FC's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Rinconadilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Frasco came free, but Arxel Patiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Salinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Oier came free, but Elvio Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arxel Patiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Frasco in the 18th minute of play. Adolfo Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Rinconadilla FC booed when Salinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ambrosio Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Salinas FC's zone, Adolfo Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Lohitzun came out of the goal and Adolfo Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Ambrosio Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arxel Patiño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Haritzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The Rinconadilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salinas FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Frasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arxel Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Salinas FC defense, Ulises Shantala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Lohitzun. The Salinas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Higinio Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Ulises Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Lázaro Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Haritzeder hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Ambrosio Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ambrosio Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Salinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Oier came free, but Elvio Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Salinas FC booed when Rinconadilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Arxel Patiño successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Frasco in the 97th minute of play forced Rinconadilla FC's goalkeeper Arxel Patiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Salinas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
