Anguilan FC's Arsenio Frascuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Anguilan FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 8 minutes, Orlando Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAMBIAR NOMBRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Feo came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CAMBIAR NOMBRE defense, 江镇剑 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Petrigai. The CAMBIAR NOMBRE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Petrigai should have stopped the shot. Pablo Petrigai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Santio's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ignacio Goiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, CAMBIAR NOMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when 江镇剑 came free, but Pablo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Anguilan FC's Arsenio Frascuelo got control of the ball when Horacio Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Armando Patrido fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAMBIAR NOMBRE's protests and gave Armando Patrido a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes CAMBIAR NOMBRE got a freekick which was hit by Armando Patrido. Arsenio Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Goiz in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Santio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Saturnino Leizarraga notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Anguilan FC's Arsenio Frascuelo. Arsenio Frascuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arsenio Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Milian in the 54th minute of play. Arnulfo Santio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Pablo Petrigai made a huge save. Arsenio Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Leizarraga in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of CAMBIAR NOMBRE booed when Anguilan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Horacio Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Saturnino Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arsenio Frascuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
