Arjen van den Brink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Mano having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Honguito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Julian Ekaitz. Bernardo Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Bermudez in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Bento got free with Bernardo Mano in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Honguito F.C.'s Mariano Bermudo got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Honguito F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Hodei hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Honguito F.C.'s zone, Guaberto Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Mano came out of the goal and Guaberto Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Teodoro Bento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Guaberto Bermudez might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's Teodoro Bento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th play minute Teodoro Bento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernardo Mano. 4-0. Teodoro Bento in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Mano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute Guaberto Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Galatasaray's Guaberto Bermudez made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Mano was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 53rd match minute, Honguito F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Beila to maneuver through the defense. When Teodoro Bento came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Bento couldn't finish the play. When Galatasaray's Guaberto Bermudez in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 67 played minutes Honguito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Federico Hodei. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Teodoro Bento sped through Honguito F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Mano. Bernardo Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Honguito F.C.'s Hipolito Perfecto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hipolito Perfecto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Honguito F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hipolito Perfecto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bernardo Mano went to the wrong direction when Guaberto Bermudez was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Honguito F.C.'s zone, Guaberto Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Mano came out of the goal and Guaberto Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute, Teodoro Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Galatasaray players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
