The crowd rose to their feet as Honguito F.C.'s Bernardo Mano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafin Emenon. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Peio to make the kick off.
