In the 27th match minute, Molinitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Obano to maneuver through the defense. Molinitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Corderall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Baumar to make the kick off. Médano FC's Donato Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes Médano FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Garaile. Alfonso Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Kråk in the 63rd minute of play. Kåre Kråk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Molinitos's Emanuel Nerio got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to Médano FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play.
