To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ciro Playo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Molinitos's Alfonso Goiz. Alfonso Goiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Marciano Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciro Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Goiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Playo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Alfonso Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Demario in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Desiderio Demario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Ferran to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Ciro Playo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Goiz. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Playo was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Molinitos got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Perfecto. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Alfonso Goiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Molinitos's goalkeeper Alfonso Goiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Molinitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Feliu to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Ciro Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Goiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Marciano Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Ferran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Goiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Sebastian Tello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Molinitos's Godfredo Perfecto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban was substituted for Marciano Ferran. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Conrado Cambranes replaced Erubiel Gaitan. A collision led to Molinitos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Godfredo Perfecto hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Molinitos's goalkeeper Alfonso Goiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Demario. Tobias Feliu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Luis Iban fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Luis Iban a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Luis Iban hit a great ball. Luis Iban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Goiz having to make a save.
