After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eulalio Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Ostadar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Dabi in the 30th minute of play forced Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goalkeeper Justo Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Indalecio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oscar Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amado Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for Chiche y Anto en el Cielo. 42 minutes into the match, Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Egoi came free, but Justo Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Quinten's late challenge caught a Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Quinten hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Andres Rufio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Vicente Dabi made a precise shot to the right of Justo Nel. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justo Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Egoi in the 89th minute of the match.
