To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Jobo having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ceferino Koldobika ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Gorka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Braulio Umbruso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Jobo having to make a save. Isaac Gorka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vipos's Arnaldo Mundo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Arturo Blai charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Blai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Vipos got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Blai. 30 minutes into the match, Cosme FC's Braulio Umbruso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Diego Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Mundo's late challenge caught a Cosme FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Mundo helped the player get up and apologised. Arnaldo Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Guido Jobo made a huge save. When Braulio Umbruso came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Cosme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Umbruso couldn't finish the play. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th match minute, Vipos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Blai to maneuver through the defense. The Cosme FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vipos were winning 0-2.

Braulio Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Guido Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Cosme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Matias Senio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vipos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosme FC the free kick. A collision led to Vipos getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Matias Senio hit a great ball. Guido Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Umbruso in the 58th minute of the match. Isaac Gorka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Suero in the 62nd minute of play. Ceferino Koldobika succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. In the 68th minute Ceferino Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Gorka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cosme FC's Alejandro Berenguer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Braulio Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Guido Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cosme FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Diego Itzaina hit a great ball. Siro Frisco kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ceferino Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Ceferino Koldobika rounded Cosme FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Isaac Gorka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Braulio Umbruso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Umbruso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vipos booed when Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Vipos echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cosme FC had held the ball for most of the match.
