After 3rd play minutes Robustiano Geofredo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Cosme Raebert and just under the crossbar into goal. Cosme Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Geofredo in the 15th minute of play forced Barrial FC's goalkeeper Cosme Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Robustiano Geofredo put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Cosme Raebert. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Amado Travieso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Travieso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Miguel Boni fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente de América's protests and gave Miguel Boni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, one of Independiente de América:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente de América. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Barrial FC's Edgard Milian got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Papo Folgueras. Independiente de América's Amado Travieso got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Leopoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Papo Folgueras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Robustiano Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Independiente de América's Robustiano Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Cosme Raebert came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente de América's Amado Travieso. But to his dismay, Amado Travieso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 40 minutes into the match, Robustiano Geofredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Raebert. Barrial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robustiano Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Cosme Raebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Geofredo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. The supporters of Barrial FC booed when Independiente de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastien Rotherfield didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Geofredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosme Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Travieso in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Independiente de América's Robustiano Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente de América's Emrullah Ergüleç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cosme Raebert. That made the score 1-10 after 61 minutes of play. In the 63rd minute, Barrial FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robustiano Geofredo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Barrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Travieso came free, but Cosme Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Raebert was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Amado Travieso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amado Travieso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-11. If Leopoldo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Amado Travieso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosme Raebert. That made the score 1-12 in the 74 minute of play. Cosme Raebert came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente de América's Robustiano Geofredo. But to his dismay, Robustiano Geofredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-13. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Geofredo in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Amado Travieso put it in 1-14 from a short distance just to the right of Cosme Raebert. Cosme Raebert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robustiano Geofredo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-15 in the 90 minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Robustiano Geofredo notched a goal, 1-16, to the right of Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert. Cosme Raebert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Independiente de América's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
