With a left leg Everardo Otoniel saved Gutemberg AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Geofredo in the 5th minute of play forced Gutemberg AFC's goalkeeper Everardo Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Travieso in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Gutemberg AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Venceslao came free, but Everardo Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Otoniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Venceslao went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Emrullah Ergüleç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Robustiano Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Fraco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Independiente de América played a much better game than Gutemberg AFC and deserved their victory. The Gutemberg AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
