In the 2nd minute, Ostendi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavio Dominix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristo Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Flavio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKD's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Cruciani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute Elpidio Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Samuel Estevon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Gomesano in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmine Cruciani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Cristo Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKD and the Ostendi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AKD getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cristo Abadie hit a great ball. Cipriano Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Popcorn Doll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Cruciani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Gomesano in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Gomesano in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Cruciani saved Ostendi from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Ostendi's Nestor Aznaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AKD's Cipriano Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Gaur in the 34th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Ostendi got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Gaur. Nestor Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cipriano Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Flavio Dominix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Severino Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Gomesano made a kick off. Arturo Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cipriano Hulberto made a huge save. Cipriano Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Gudesteo in the 65th minute of the match. When AKD's Severino Gomesano in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ostendi's goalie prevented a goal. Severino Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Abadie in the 84th minute of play forced Ostendi's goalkeeper Carmine Cruciani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ostendi booed when AKD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tejs Richards didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AKD getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tejs Richards hit a great ball.
