In the 37th minute, Luciano Quirce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Raebert was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Emrullah Ergüleç hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Amado Travieso had several of the Barrial FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Cosme Raebert as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cosme Raebert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Travieso's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Aurelio Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert got control of the ball when Luciano Quirce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the game, Independiente de América's Robustiano Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cosme Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The Independiente de América fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Independiente de América's Robustiano Geofredo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Barrial FC defense, Emrullah Ergüleç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Raebert. The Barrial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Raebert should have stopped the shot. Jeronimo Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Romeo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Amado Travieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Batista hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Robustiano Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Raebert having to interfere. There was no doubt that Independiente de América were the better team. Independiente de América's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
