In the 7th minute Edgardo Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Hänggi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Edgardo Arotza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of lo pibe del potrero's Hendrik Hänggi. Hendrik Hänggi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teo Ciano kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, lo pibe del potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Arotza came free, but Hendrik Hänggi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrik Hänggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianino were furious when Eustaquio Marin was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 18 minutes into the game, one of Gianino:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Arotza in the 23rd minute of play forced lo pibe del potrero's goalkeeper Hendrik Hänggi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendrik Hänggi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Arotza went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Edgardo Arotza put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hendrik Hänggi. Hendrik Hänggi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Arotza's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Gianino were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after lo pibe del potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristobal Maju took the corner. The corner led Gianino's Cristobal Maju to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik Hänggi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in lo pibe del potrero fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Gianino. Cristobal Maju stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hendrik Hänggi. 1-5. After the first half Gianino were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Arotza to make the kick off. lo pibe del potrero's Hendrik Hänggi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save lo pibe del potrero from getting a goal against them. After 52 played minutes Edgardo Arotza rounded lo pibe del potrero's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Pablo Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Blasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Justino Oriol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Gianino got a freekick which was hit by Albino Incendio. After 69 minutes, Justino Oriol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the lo pibe del potrero and the Gianino players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gianino booed when lo pibe del potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, lo pibe del potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Nesto to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes, Gianino's Gabriel Behe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hendrik Hänggi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gianino reached it. When Hector Nesto fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lo pibe del potrero's protests and gave Hector Nesto a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hendrik Hänggi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Arotza's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Arotza in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik Hänggi saved lo pibe del potrero from getting behind. After 86 played minutes Gianino got a freekick which was hit by Albino Incendio. Hendrik Hänggi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Arotza in the 91st minute. Flavio Maria took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Marz. Pablo Marz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Gianino's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
