After some careless play in the Gianino defense, Gaby Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Marz. The Gianino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Marz should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's Enzo Totakoxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Marz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Languiñeo FC's Gaby Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gianino getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Albino Incendio hit a great ball. Gaby Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pablo Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Gábor Szabó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Totakoxe in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gianino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nemesio Eliazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Languiñeo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Languiñeo FC's Nemesio Eliazar to fire away a dangerous shot which Pablo Marz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute, Felix Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Totakoxe in the 29th minute of the match. Pablo Marz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Totakoxe went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gianino's Pablo Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Enzo Totakoxe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pablo Marz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaby Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Totakoxe scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaby Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Marz having to interfere. Pablo Marz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Languiñeo FC's attentive Silvio Haimar managed to snatch the ball when Albino Incendio made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Enzo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Languiñeo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Totakoxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute of the game Cristobal Maju made a throw-in which Patricio Abeijon played forward. Thanks to some nice moves Gaby Batistuta could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Pablo Marz however easily saved by the left post. If Enzo Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 58th minute of play forced Gianino's goalkeeper Pablo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gianino getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Albino Incendio hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Enzo Totakoxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Languiñeo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Pablo Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Totakoxe in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Enzo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Languiñeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Marz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Totakoxe in the 72nd minute of play forced Gianino's goalkeeper Pablo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Arotza in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Txerran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianino's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enzo Totakoxe 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Languiñeo FC's Bartolo Izel was substituted for Enzo Totakoxe. Isaac Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Txerran having to interfere. When Languiñeo FC's Bartolo Izel in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gianino's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Languiñeo FC booed when Gianino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Languiñeo FC's Victorio Frasquito was substituted for Ermegildo Abeita. After 91 played minutes Gianino got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Celipe. Bartolo Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
