Ciro Ongile who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Esiquio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 10 in the game by Ciro Ongile from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Esiquio managed to make a qualified save. Celófan FC's players were relieved. Aldo Justin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Filomeno Esiquio, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 1-0. Santo Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hickmann's Javier Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Ongile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Esiquio having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Sérgio Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Esiquio. Celófan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Benito Venceslas made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Placido Frasquito however managed to control. 40 minutes into the match, Hickmann's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Perico came free, but Hilario Solustiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Perico in the 46th minute of play forced Hickmann's goalkeeper Hilario Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Cristo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Perico to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Sérgio Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Filomeno Esiquio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Ongile in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilario Solustiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Perico in the 61st minute. A collision led to Hickmann getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marcial Gotzon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cristo Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celófan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Solustiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Azevedo in the 68th minute of play forced Celófan FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Justin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Placido Frasquito kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cristo Ekain charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Ekain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Celófan FC's Cristo Ekain got a free kick in the 75th minute. Celófan FC's Filomeno Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Ramos in the 77th minute of play. Hilario Solustiano was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Cristo Ekain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristo Ekain really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The supporters of Hickmann booed when Celófan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Celófan FC's Bernardo Perico got a free kick in the 89th minute. Filomeno Esiquio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Ongile's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Javier Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Santo Gaztea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celófan FC and the Hickmann players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Celófan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hickmann walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
