To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Vito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Esiquio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Apolo Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Ciénega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Maria to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Ciénega's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Ekain came free, but Luisito Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Perico in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Normando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Delmar Gentza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Delmar Gentza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Delmar Gentza made a precise shot to the right of Filomeno Esiquio. Celófan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Bernardo Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Luisito Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Perico in the 56th minute of play forced Ciénega's goalkeeper Luisito Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Normando having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Ciénega's goalkeeper Luisito Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristo Ekain. With a little luck, Ciénega's Luisito Normando got control of the ball when Cristo Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Ciénega were awarded a corner. Romulo Tancredo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th minute, Bernardo Perico fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Celófan FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Celófan FC's Cristo Ekain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Ciénega's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Perico came free, but Luisito Normando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Romulo Tancredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciénega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celófan FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes Ciénega got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Tancredo.
