When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gaspar Mateo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Blas Claris. In the 23rd minute, Gaspar Mateo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Claris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gaspar Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Gaspar Mateo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 37th minute of the match Ignacio Dantae sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Sotil skillfully saved the ball. Gaspar Mateo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Claris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Mateo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Claris was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Mateo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Pintó Un Tinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Blas Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Mateo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Claris saved Pintó Un Tinto from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Mateo in the 74th minute of play forced Pintó Un Tinto's goalkeeper Blas Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pintó Un Tinto's Blas Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Mateo in the 75th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Villa Mitre's Blas Claris threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaspar Mateo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pintó Un Tinto's Blas Claris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pintó Un Tinto from getting a goal against them. Blas Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gaspar Mateo scored 0-8 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Claris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
