After 22 minutes, Horacio Eguen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pintó Un Tinto and the Guardia Alta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pintó Un Tinto's Horacio Eguen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Txerran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Namık Kemal Candar. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Pintó Un Tinto's Blas Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Gaizkine in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Isidoro Garikoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guardia Alta FC and the Pintó Un Tinto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guardia Alta FC's Siro Oliverio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guardia Alta FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
