An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Middelhede in the 26th minute of play forced Deportivo Villalonga's goalkeeper Hilario Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Cesaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornelius Middelhede went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Deportivo Villalonga's Hilario Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Gentili in the 34th minute of play. Hilario Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fagondo in the 39th minute of play. Primeiro Leto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Argentinos del Norte's Camilo Palos was substituted for Remigio Castulo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Oskitz to make the kick off. With a little luck, Deportivo Villalonga's Hilario Cesaro got control of the ball when Domenico Gentili tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes Deportivo Villalonga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Barratt who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mattias Barratt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hilario Cesaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Oskitz in the 65th minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Primeiro Leto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Birila in the 67th minute of play forced Deportivo Villalonga's goalkeeper Hilario Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Gentili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hilario Cesaro made a huge save. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Ladislao Birila sped through Deportivo Villalonga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilario Cesaro. When Ladislao Birila came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Argentinos del Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Birila couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Deportivo Villalonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Villalonga's goalkeeper Hilario Cesaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ladislao Birila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hilario Cesaro. The goal made the score 0-8. After 97 minutes, Reynaldo Hanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Villalonga and the Argentinos del Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Reynaldo Hanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deportivo Villalonga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argentinos del Norte's performance. The match ended with a win for Argentinos del Norte.
