The audience was convinced that Jairo Jordy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Luzaide was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Camilo Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Xacintu in the 33rd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fiestatonda reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Kusko in the 41st minute of play forced Fiestatonda's goalkeeper David Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
