Octavio Haitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Lisandro Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talita AFC's protests and gave Emanuel Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Talita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Omero in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Frans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Janpier was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Frantzes couldn't finish the play. La M FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
