Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Talita AFC's Ladislao Cebrian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ladislao Cebrian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geronimo Lizer. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Pablo Baladi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meninos da Vila Belmiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talita AFC the free kick. Pablo Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Zeledon Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Talita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Janpier couldn't finish the play. If Ladislao Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Talita AFC's Lisandro Inguma got a free kick in the 16th minute. Geronimo Lizer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Henrico in the 19th minute. Lisandro Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geronimo Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Kusko charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Kusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Talita AFC booed when Meninos da Vila Belmiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Kusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Horacio Acuña fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos da Vila Belmiro's protests and gave Horacio Acuña a yellow card for diving instead. Angel Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ladislao Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Meninos da Vila Belmiro's Aquilino Paublo got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Ladislao Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Jordy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ladislao Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ladislao Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Baladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Frans having to make a save.
