Arnaldo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Correcaminos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Ospetsu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Lucas saved Globo Juniors from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Globo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Neto to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Locaio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. João Francisco Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ankaios Kalakos in the 60th minute of the match.
