Fiestatonda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fiestatonda's Paulo Xacintu got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Fiestatonda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Boni to maneuver through the defense. When Iker Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fiestatonda's protests and gave Iker Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Iker Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, one of Fiestatonda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fiestatonda. David Luzaide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Suero in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Emanuel Bautista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Luzaide. Emanuel Bautista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 37th minute, Pablo Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Luzaide was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Xacintu to strike the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Pablo Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Luzaide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Luzaide having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fiestatonda defense, Arnaldo Suero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Luzaide. The Fiestatonda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Luzaide should have stopped the shot. David Luzaide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Globo Juniors's Pablo Acosta in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fiestatonda's goalie prevented a goal. Hipolito Orzaize's late challenge caught a Globo Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Orzaize helped the player get up and apologised. Hipolito Orzaize hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Emanuel Bautista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Luzaide. Fiestatonda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pablo Acosta scored 6-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Luzaide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Fiestatonda's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Suero came free, but David Luzaide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Fiestatonda got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Boni. 78 minutes into the match, Pablo Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Luzaide.
