After a rather tough play, Meninos da Vila Belmiro's Jaime Kusko got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Meninos da Vila Belmiro's Geronimo Lizer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Meninos da Vila Belmiro from getting a goal against them. After 32 played minutes Meninos da Vila Belmiro got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Jordy. Octavio Haitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Baladi in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Frantzes got free with Geronimo Lizer in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Kusko during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, La M FC's Geronimo Lizer threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santiago Omero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Octavio Haitz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Meninos da Vila Belmiro's Pablo Baladi. But to his dismay, Pablo Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Celestino Frantzes might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Lizer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Frantzes ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the game, Horacio Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meninos da Vila Belmiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La M FC the free kick. The supporters of La M FC booed when Meninos da Vila Belmiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Haitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Baladi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Celestino Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moises Nikola fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos da Vila Belmiro's protests and gave Moises Nikola a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Meninos da Vila Belmiro got a freekick which was hit by Moises Nikola. In the 80th minute, Jaime Kusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Maria's late challenge caught a Meninos da Vila Belmiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Maria helped the player get up and apologised. Santiago Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Geronimo Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila Belmiro's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Frantzes came free, but Geronimo Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meninos da Vila Belmiro's Geronimo Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Omero in the 96th minute of play. La M FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Meninos da Vila Belmiro to leave the ground with a draw.
