The Fiestatonda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Luzaide should have stopped the shot. Slawomir Turak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Luzaide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Anselmo Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Fiestatonda got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Shantala. Anselmo Shantala hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Slawomir Turak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Luzaide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Slawomir Turak notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fiestatonda's David Luzaide. David Luzaide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Slawomir Turak made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Luzaide was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiestatonda's goalkeeper David Luzaide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severiano Oliviero in the 39th minute. The corner led to 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Alfonso Txilar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 42nd minute, Slawomir Turak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fiestatonda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 25 de Abril Futbol Club were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Paulo Xacintu made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Slawomir Turak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Luzaide. That made the score 0-6 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Slawomir Turak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Luzaide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Luzaide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 25 de Abril Futbol Club. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Zeledon Sendoa was substituted for Alfonso Txilar. Slawomir Turak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but David Luzaide made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Slawomir Turak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. A collision led to 25 de Abril Futbol Club getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Miguel Urtungo hit a great ball. Moises Tello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Luzaide came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Tello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 87th minute. The supporters of Fiestatonda booed when 25 de Abril Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
