Green Bay Packers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 21 played minutes Green Bay Packers got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Marquez. Enrique Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Lindberg in the 25th minute of the match. When Zsolt Berta came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Estudiantes de rio cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Berta couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute of the match, Rolando Ebardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 王建朋 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 31 played minutes Estudiantes de rio cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Lindberg. In the 34th minute of the match Green Bay Packers got a corner. Estudiantes de rio cuarto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleto Toro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Green Bay Packers's Isaac Basualdo to fire away a dangerous shot which 王建朋 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Zsolt Berta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de rio cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Berta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Green Bay Packers's zone, Przemyslaw Kieca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Paublo came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Kieca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Green Bay Packers's Enrique Paublo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Motta in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Green Bay Packers's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Motta came free, but Enrique Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 王建朋 made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Norberto Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Green Bay Packers defense, Zsolt Berta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Paublo. The Green Bay Packers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Paublo should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavinho Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Estudiantes de rio cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Pero. Nicanor Enekoitz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Ebardo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 王建朋 saved Estudiantes de rio cuarto from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Flavinho Motta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Paublo. The goal made the score 0-6. The Estudiantes de rio cuarto fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Estudiantes de rio cuarto's Flavinho Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Przemyslaw Kieca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Enrique Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Green Bay Packers's zone, Nicanor Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Paublo came out of the goal and Nicanor Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Green Bay Packers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Sven-Oskar Lindberg scored to the left of an out of position Enrique Paublo, making the score, 0-8. Zsolt Berta struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Enrique Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de rio cuarto. When Estudiantes de rio cuarto's Sven-Oskar Lindberg in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Bay Packers's goalie prevented a goal. Flavinho Motta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 75th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho Motta in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Aquiles Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Berta in the 94th minute of play.
