After having played for 11 minutes, Enzo Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Star's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Otsoa scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Banegas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Everardo Mergildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Leonel Banegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes, Everardo Mergildo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Herradura AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Banegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Mergildo. Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Herradura AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Mergildo in the 38th minute of play forced Herradura AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gaudencio Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Lluques to make the kick off. Maximo Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Banegas having to interfere. Gaudencio Gartzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Asur went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Eleuterio Tome with Julian Fero as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Herradura AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eleuterio Tome hit a great ball. Maximo Otsoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Banegas having to make a save. Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Mergildo in the 71st minute of play. Everardo Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Banegas having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Everardo Mergildo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas. Leonel Banegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enzo Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Black Star booed when Herradura AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Black Star had won after a very even match.
