Spectators: 7349 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Ebardo started the match with the kick off. Everardo Mergildo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Enrique Paublo 9 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Black Star's Everardo Mergildo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Paublo. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. When Iker Geleberto fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Star's protests and gave Iker Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Green Bay Packers booed when Black Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Geleberto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Enrique Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Star. Maximo Otsoa took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Paublo. Enrique Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Enrique Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Mergildo in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Everardo Mergildo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Paublo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Everardo Mergildo made the kick off in the second half. When Iker Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Black Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Geleberto couldn't finish the play. Hector Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Iker Geleberto struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Enrique Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Star. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Basualdo in the 59th minute of play forced Black Star's goalkeeper Gaudencio Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Everardo Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Black Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Mergildo couldn't finish the play. Black Star's Honorio Theobald got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everardo Mergildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Paublo having to make a save. Everardo Mergildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Paublo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Everardo Mergildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Paublo. Green Bay Packers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Mergildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 74th match minute, Green Bay Packers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Cordarell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaudencio Gartzi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Honorio Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Paublo having to interfere. Felipe Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Black Star walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
