Leonel Banegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Enzo Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Black Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Montrelle couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Iker Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Black Star had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
