Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltan Strickler in the 3rd minute of play forced Herradura AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Pozorski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas. Leonel Banegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Banegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Pozorski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Rogelio Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Banegas. Herradura AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 14 minutes into the game, Claudio Lluques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herradura AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roja Directa the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Herradura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Lluques to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Banegas came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Roja Directa's Slavomil Hosnedl. But to his dismay, Slavomil Hosnedl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 19 minutes into the match, Herradura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Aimar came free, but Leonel Banegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Zbyszko Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roja Directa were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Herradura AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gregorio Lico took the corner. Arturo Loramendi made a great header on Roja Directa's corner, it was just that Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas managed to reach the ball for a save. Leonel Banegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Aimar went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Roja Directa fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Roja Directa's Zbyszko Pozorski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the game, Rogelio Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Leonel Banegas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 47 minutes on the clock, Jeremias Amaya commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Aurelio Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Pozorski was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match, Arturo Loramendi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonel Banegas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Zbyszko Pozorski came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Roja Directa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Pozorski couldn't finish the play. Leonel Banegas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Pozorski's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Leonel Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Pozorski in the 66th minute of play. Zbyszko Pozorski took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Banegas. Leonel Banegas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Roja Directa made a substitution. Teofilo Osorio replaced Arturo Loramendi. Leonel Banegas was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Teofilo Osorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
