Leonel Banegas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Man Tas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tadeu Jacinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Banegas. That made the score 2-0 after 7 minutes of play. 12 minutes into the game, Man Tas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Banegas. Man Tas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Man Tas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Man Tas got free with Leonel Banegas in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Banegas had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Tadeu Jacinto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 21st minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonel Banegas. Leonel Banegas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Henning Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leonel Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Man Tas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Man Tas sped through Herradura AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Banegas. Eleuterio Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Herradura AFC's Leonel Banegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Herradura AFC from getting a goal against them. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arias Fabelo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Julian Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Eleuterio Tome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herradura AFC and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Herradura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Tome to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After 59 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Arias Fabelo. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Aurelio Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Elizardo came out of the goal and Aurelio Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Herradura AFC defense, Man Tas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Banegas. The Herradura AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Banegas should have stopped the shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia made a substitution. Alex Herrero replaced Man Tas. After a rather tough play, Herradura AFC's Eleuterio Tome got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Herradura AFC defense, Alex Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Banegas. The Herradura AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Banegas should have stopped the shot. Arias Fabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Banegas having to interfere. Alex Herrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Banegas having to make a save. In the 77th minute Alex Herrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Banegas having to interfere. Cesar Sarmiento hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Alex Herrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Banegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Henning Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Henning Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Banegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Banegas came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero. But to his dismay, Alex Herrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0.
