Maximiliano Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Beremundo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lino Oinatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. When Leonardo Chap got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lino Oinatz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Paulino Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Oinatz having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Aquilino Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Oinatz. Chosmes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 23 minutes, Fermin Pio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chosmes and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fermin Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Chorche got in the 27th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Maximiliano Eutropio. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-1. Leonardo Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lino Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mel came free, but Maximiliano Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Chap in the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Racing Club's Maximiliano Eutropio got control of the ball when Justo Chorche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximiliano Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Mel in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulino Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Oinatz having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Leonardo Chap dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lino Oinatz, 1-3. After having played for 81 minutes, Paulino Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Chosmes's Justo Chorche made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Eutropio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justo Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Eutropio having to interfere. Racing Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
