The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes BASQUEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Muc. The audience was convinced that Benigno Rosio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Hitz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Benigno Rosio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 17 minutes into the match, Rogelio Lauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Hitz. BASQUEL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Lauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bella Vista F.C's Benigno Rosio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erubiel Hitz. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Bella Vista F.C's Rogelio Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Lauro got free with Erubiel Hitz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Erubiel Hitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Lauro's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Rogelio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Erubiel Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Hitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Braulio Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Helström hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, BASQUEL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Favila to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Benigno Rosio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Erubiel Hitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to BASQUEL FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Blas Favila hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Bella Vista F.C's Rogelio Lauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Hitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bella Vista F.C had played much better football throughout.
